. is a group of fuchsia enthusiasts who meet three  times a year on
the last Saturday in February, May and  August  at 1 Albert Road Bullaburra
(in the Blue mountains) at 1:30pm.
The purpose of the not for profit club is to promote the growing of Fuchsias  through
the sharing of information, plants and tips.
 
Fuchsia Festival
In November each year, the club has a Fuchsia Festival during which we get
 together with other interested people .

 
At the Festival, we sell well developed Nursery quality named Fuchsia plants
and baskets at very reasonable prices,
provide Advisors to help visitors
choose plants and give advice, conduct workshops,
have a large
Exhibition of Fuchsias in Pots and baskets

The Festival Entry is donated to a local charity
 
Other Events:
The club joins  with the Blue Mountains Historical Society on their
October Open Day each year
 to sell well developed nursery quality
Named Fuchsias and provide advisors to give advice and mount a
Fuchsia Exhibition
.
We also have a stall at the Collector’s Plant Fair in Bilpin
each April to sell named Fuchsias
.
We advise members of Open Fuchsia Gardens which they may wish to visit
 
Meetings
Members enjoy our informal meetings which begin with a
plant and cuttings swap and a Blooms Exhibition.

This is followed by a hands-on workshop on a topic chosen by
members at the previous meeting.

A simple formal meeting is then followed by an Open Discussion topic
in which all members present share their expertise

We finish the meeting with afternoon tea where members
continue their discussions and share tips with others
.
 
Other Services:
The club has a Newsletter which goes out six weeks after each meeting and the festival.
The Newsletter is a very practical one and treats topics appropriate to the season,
information on where to purchase plants, topics suggested by members etc.
We have a small Library which is available to members.
Books may be borrowed for six months and

we have a postal service for those who cannot attend meetings

Speakers:
We provide talks and workshops  for Garden Clubs on the care and cultivation of Fuchsias  and Landscaping with Fuchsias
 
 
Twice a year we order plants from Mason’s Fuchsias in Tasmania for
our members and bring them to Sydney by specialist plant road transport

Mason’s has the largest selection of Fuchsia plants in Australia.
This service allows our members to buy  larger plants from
Tasmania which are not available in NSW and Victorian Nurseries.

This is a special service arranged by the club for members only

Membership Fees

Membership is $6 for single membership or $10 for two people living at the same address
 
 
As an Incorporated organisation under the supervision of the
Office Of Fair Trading, we comply with all the requirements of a non-profit organisation.

 All our funds are used for the benefit of members, and to promote and liaise with media and wholesale, mail order  and retail nurseries  and  overseas Fuchsias Societies and other appropriate organisations to promote the sale and cultivation of named Fuchsias
